We are going to be starting a project to enter into the royal society of chemistry's Scrub Up On Science competition. It is about the chemistry of cosmetics. it will involve the students doing some research, experiments and product development for a type of cosmetics. We are currently looking at soap, lip balm and bath bombs. The next step in the project will be to make a presentation about the students learning and conclusions. This will involve taking some pictures of the students taking part in experiments and research.
Last term our Year 9 pupils took part in a poetry writing competition run by Young Writers.
Update: Alhumdulillah, the school raised an impressive £1402.88 during Charity Week 2019.

The British Legion helps war veterans, their families and dependents all year-round. Each year the nation expresses its unequivocal support for The Royal British Legion's work through the Poppy Appeal, coinciding with remembrance events during the second week in November.
Members of Gloucestershire Anti-Slavery Partnership (GASP) will be taking an assembly to raise awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking on Wednesday 9th October 2019.
